Sanna Commons is run by Sanna Studio, based in San Diego, California. This page explains
what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you
have. If you have questions, reach us through our
contact page.
What we collect
What you tell us. When you fill in our interest form or edit your
profile: your name, email, LinkedIn and website, location, what you do and who you work
with, whether you're taking clients, and how you heard about us.
Information that's already public. For some members, we prepared a
draft profile from public sources, such as event attendee lists and your public website
or LinkedIn profile. You can see it, correct it, or ask us to remove it.
How you use Sanna Commons. When you sign in, search, or request or
accept an introduction, we keep a record of it.
Technical information. Your IP address and basic details of your
requests, which we use to keep the site secure and to prevent misuse of sign-in.
Payments. If we offer paid services, a payment provider will process
your payments. We won't store your full card number.
How we use it
To run your profile and the directory, and to suggest matches and introductions. We use
automated tools, including AI, to organize profiles and suggest matches.
To send you the emails you need, such as sign-in codes and introduction requests.
To keep Sanna Commons secure and prevent misuse.
To understand what's working and improve the service.
Who can see your profile
You, and the Sanna Commons team.
Other members see a summary of what you offer, without your name or contact details,
until you accept their introduction request. When you accept, they see who you are, and
you receive their email address so you can contact them.
Your profile isn't shown to the public or to search engines.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share
it only with service providers that help us run Sanna Commons: website hosting, our
database, email delivery, AI services, our form tool, and, if we offer paid services, payment
processing. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also share
information when the law requires it.
Cookies
We use two cookies, both needed for sign-in: one keeps you signed in, and one lasts only
while you enter your sign-in code. We don't use advertising or analytics
cookies.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We don't track you across other websites, so
Sanna Commons works the same way whether or not your browser sends one.
Your choices
See and edit your profile from My profile.
Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, through our
contact page. We'll reply within 30
days.
Ask us to remove your profile and account.
California residents: we don't sell personal information or share it with others for
their direct marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your profile is active. When you ask us to remove your
profile, we delete your profile and account. We may keep a record that an introduction
took place, without your name or contact details. Sign-in codes expire shortly after we
send them.
Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections and limited access, and we store
sign-in codes only in scrambled form. No website is perfectly secure, but we work to
protect your information.
Children
Sanna Commons is for adults running businesses. It isn't intended for people under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, such
as introducing paid services, we'll email members before the changes take
effect.
